I'm trying to fix up the words of an ancient song that a friend of mine and I wrote when I was at Uni. It's a kind of paraphrase of Colossians 1 and 2. I need a two syllable word for "good" to use in a substitute for the word "gospel".

I consulted my good friend What do you think of "gnarly news"? Doesn't really work does it?!

For now I think I'm going with "awesome". Any other ideas?

what about two one-syllable words: "such great news" or something like that?
